How a misbehaving hexagon taught me more about myself than any tidy pattern ever could... There are things I know about myself now that I didn’t have language for years ago. One of them is this: I am not precise. I struggle to: "measure twice, cut once". I tried and failed numerous times to “draft a perfect pattern before I touch the fabric”.
