get involved

Creativity is my passion. Whether it comes in a form of crochet projects to unite the family, helping others understanding a pattern, making everyday objects beautified, reuse and re-love old favourites, transforming your skill and making use of it for everyday life or created something handmade and new from scratch for someone else to treasure, the feeling of finishing a project, looking back and being able to proudly announce: I MADE THIS! is something we can all get a little more of.

Whether we are 3 or 30 it is important for our health, both physical and mental, to create, to be involved in some sort of enjoyable, creative activity of our choice, to feed both our brains and our bodies the flow feeling which is considered helpful in restoring balance after stressful events, and helping us ward of illnesses in general…

These are some of the reasons why I offer to share my skills and teach crochet to anyone interested…  It is good to share, and i know from personal experience how much crochet does help!

If you would like to know how to make something pictured on this website or are struggling with reading a pattern, if you need some help, or would like to try some engaging way of connecting with others, GET IN TOUCH!

If you always fancied learning to crochet and never got round to it, as per above…

If you are an organization and would like to book a workshop for your staff/participants, please visit my WORKSHOPS page on the workshop page and i will be looking forward to your email.

Various projects are designed for both, individual needs and group requirements.  Crochet workshops can be designed and tailored to the needs of the participants, and if you would like to discuss this in more detail, please CONTACT ME, and i will be happy to start planning the perfect workshop with You.

Craft afternoons can be a very useful tool in team-building helping with breaking the ice amongst co-workers but also in confidence-building exercises for the families and wider communities.

Crochet projects are a great way of getting involved in the creative whilst getting to know more people with similar interests and hobbies.  There is a variety of communities getting involved all over the world and as you don’t have to travel anywhere, it is a great way to do all of the above from the comfort of your living room, whilst engaging with a crochet community online.

Local and national charities would most likely be organizing projects for avid enthusiasts and since the proceeds are made to good use for various charitable causes, you are giving more than once.  Firstly by making the item (which feeds your own addiction to creative activity) then by donating it to the organization for them to use and then again when they sell/ gift/ exhibit it and make money to be invested into important improvements.

Look at it as your own craftivism… 🙂
