It is cold! Winter appears to be LONG this year. And COLD! When I recently started updating my BLANKETS and WEARABLES pages, I noticed a trend in the photos I took of my crochet creations. I have not been able to blog regularly because of other commitments. That is okay. I have various things pulling on my time and consciousness, mostly for educational and personal development reasons. It's all good. I am still able to crochet, please do not worry. Just that I am doing it less frequently, because my mind is otherwise engaged. And so are my hands - typing mostly... Welcome to the world a new baby! When i make blanket for babies, i like to use rainbow colours. Baby crochet blankets are smaller and take less time than my giant crochet thinking projects. Baby blankets are finished quicker, and usually way way before the babies are due, just in case.... Toys for boys. That was my prime directive for this kind and considerate request, and it is the story about how they came to be that i would like to tell you today. I do not fully agree that there is such a natural distinction... What i mean is, i am not convinced there is such a thing as innately boy's toys and innately girl's toys.
